Oxford Street already messes with your head enough without a museum designed to do it on purpose.
Twist Museum sits just off Oxford Circus with over 60 exhibits built by artists, neuroscientists, and philosophers whose entire job, apparently, was figuring out how to break your perception in the most photogenic way possible.
London’s had immersive experiences for a while now (The London Dungeon, Shrek’s Adventure, the lot), but Twist skips the theatrics and goes straight for the “wait, what” reaction instead.
The Ames Room shrinks you down with nothing but clever architecture, the Life Without Colour Room drains every hue from the world, the Sound Lab plays with senses you didn’t know you were using, and the Kaleidoscope Room reacts to your every move, whether you asked it to or not!
