Affiliate Disclosure

The short version

Some of the links on Squeeze London are affiliate links. If you click one and book or buy something, we may earn a small commission. It never costs you anything extra, and it never changes what we recommend.

This page explains how we make money from squeezelondon.com, so you always know where you stand. It applies to every page on the website, as well as the links we share on our social channels.

An affiliate link is a special tracking link. When you click one and then make a booking or purchase, the business knows you came from Squeeze London and pays us a small fee for sending you their way. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be if you went to the website directly.

We work with affiliate networks and partners that are relevant to London travel and lifestyle, such as ticketing and experience platforms, hotel and accommodation booking sites, and restaurant and attraction booking services. This includes partners available through Travelpayouts, a travel affiliate platform. Our partners may change over time.

Affiliate tracking usually relies on cookies. You can find out more about the cookies used on the website in our Privacy Policy.

Advertising

The website also displays adverts, which are served by third-party advertising networks such as Journey by Mediavine. We earn money when these adverts are shown or clicked.

We don’t choose or control the individual adverts you see, and an advert appearing on Squeeze London doesn’t mean we endorse the product, service or business behind it.

From time to time, we partner with brands, venues and attractions, or we’re invited to try an experience, meal or stay free of charge. When that happens, we always tell you clearly:

  • Sponsored or paid content: posts we’ve been paid to create are labelled as an advert (for example, “AD” or “Sponsored”) at the top of the post, in line with UK advertising rules.
  • Gifted experiences: if we’ve been invited somewhere or received something for free, we say so in the post.
  • Social media: paid partnerships and gifted content on our social channels are labelled with “#ad” or the platform’s paid partnership tag.

Being gifted something never guarantees a positive review or a place in one of our guides.

Our editorial promise

Every place in our guides is there because we think it’s genuinely worth your time, not because it pays us. We regularly recommend places we earn nothing from, and we’ll never include somewhere just because it has an affiliate programme.

Our opinions are always our own. Commissions and advertising simply help cover the costs of running Squeeze London, so we can keep our guides free for everyone. Thank you for supporting us!
